Υπόθεση:
Aurora is the mother of a blind, illegitimate 10-year-old boy, Ciro. She embarks on an odyssey through Italy to track down old lovers hoping to persuade each to pay for an operation that would restore her son’s sight. She tells each of her ex-lovers that Ciro is their son. Ciro gets his sight back and Aurora is reunited with David, the man she really loves.
Aurora, formerly a maid in a hotel and now the owner of a taxi in Sorrento, has a ten-year-old boy who is blind. To give the boy his sight back, a difficult and costly operation is required, to be performed in Switzerland. Aurora therefore leaves to go in search of three ex-Iovers, one of whom might be the father of her blind son. She obtains a check for ten million lire from her lover in Rome, on the very day that his legitimate daughter is getting married, since he is anxious to avoid any scandals. In Tuscany she meets the son of her second lover, who has died in the meantime, and together they excogitate a ruse which yields her another ten million. The third is an American, the man she really loved, whom she tracks him down in Val d’Aosta where he is the owner of a transport helicopter. With a third contribution, the boy enters the hospital to undergo the opera-tion which is entirely successful. Mother and son embrace tenderly, joined by the American.
